We develop  light autonomous electric vehicles. Since 2014, we have led the effort to develop an affordable environmentally clean solar powered light electric vehicle for Africa.

Our Mission

Deployment of electric bicycles, scooters and 3 and 4 wheel vehicles (including recharging stations and leasing/rental/PAYG systems) and development of the inexpensive solar car as a sustainable economic development tool in isolated off-grid rural areas in Africa.

We are producing 130 solar electric cargo tricycles for the Kenya market in Nairobi.

What We've Achieved

  • Developed 10 working prototypes of solar powered light electric vehicles and charging station.
  • Developed a key performance data collection and transmission system for solar powered light electric vehicles.
  • Developed a PAYG business model and a deploymnet strategy for anywhere in Africa.
  • Proved we can build, in Africa, a solar powered light electric vehicle from existing components from low cost asian manufacturing.
  • Proved we can deliver to Nairobi a solar powered light electric vehicle for less thant $1000
  • Our solar powered light electric vehicle can travel 50km a day just with energy from the sun.
  • Our solar powered light electric vehicle can travel at a speed of 30km per hour.
  • Our solar powered light electric vehicle can travel up small inclines at a speed of 20km per hour.
